Review: Paesano

This edition extensively reviews and evaluates what makes Peasano undoubtedly good scran.  I think everyone at least sees a Peasano pizza in their day. A photo of their authentic Italian pizza is usually posted on the Instagram or Snapchat stories of their customers. Go check now - I bet you someone has uploaded a story captioned "in here far too often 🙈" or just boomerang of their food. A quick recon on my own Instagram found two different users frequented Peasano yesterday. This one fit both the criteria. Anyway, the stories are all justified. Its one of the best pizza places in the city centre. The prices are very reasonable, £5 - £8, and the service is always rapid. My girlfriend first showed me what Peasano had to offer in 2nd year of uni and now its probably my favourite pizza place in Glasgow. Review: Andiamo

This edition is less of a review but more of a short public service.  I used to work in Andiamo in Milngavie, that was until I was "let go" for pretending to still be on holiday in an attempt to extend my time off and then bumping into one of my supervisors in Tesco. The following Monday I was called in to hand in my apron.  As you may expect, this left a bad taste in my mouth ever since. I have therefore brought it upon myself to expose some of the behind the scenes atrocities committed by employees. I would assume the type of stuff I saw happens in a lot of restaurants, which I have been mindful of to this day.   Don't get me wrong the people that worked there at the time were all sound, with the exception of the manager that called me in, and I got on with them well. No names, no case.  The most shocking thing I ever witnessed was a pizza get slid onto a plate with too much gusto it flew off the other side and on to the floor.  Now, a brie...

Review: Ramen Dayo

I'll be honest, before going to Ramen Dayo the closest thing to ramen I've ever had would be a standard pot noodle or Koka noodles. I used to opt for a chicken and mushroom pot back at school lunch when the shops had sold out of roll and sausage, which was like gold-dust. Regardless, the pot noodle was still a decent bit of kit. I mind one freak back then used to drink the pots' juices first, then proceed to put the remaining contents onto a roll and munch on that. Anyway, the point is I've had mediocre/limited experiences with ramen. That is until now. Fraz (See Pic)  has suggested Ramen Dayo before but hes been swiftly rejected each time because of my ignorant pot-noodle-perception of ramen. This time, however, we were both feeling the effects of dry-mouths, a condition we refer to as cotton mouth. Who knows what causes it but we were both hungry and thirsty as a result.
